“ Since I bought a civic to them I was thinking it’s more convenient to do service on my GMC Acadia the last time they fix my AC on my GMC they said it’s compressor need to change and run a check and there is no leak. I paid almost 2k for that and after 2 months the AC is not working properly and I thought it was the battery When I check it again to Honda Tomball they said it have a leak and need to change both discharge hose and liquid hose asking me to pay 2.3k. The Guy Alex didn’t even check if there is warranty he just told me that there might be some discount on the part and I should grab it. Change a lot on my perception and trust on Honda so if I need to get my Civic service I have to look for another Honda dealer. ”

“ I was a customer of Honda of Tomball. I purchased my car and always had my maintenance done. I decided to no longer to return my car for service recently. I had recommended my daughter to Honda. Her first experience was good and she had some expensive work done on her vehicle. She had an older vehicle that was not a Honda. The last visit I went with her for repairs. She explained what her car was doing, and her radiator was leaking. They did not offer to do a diagnostic inspection but replaced the radiator for a substantial amount. After replacing the radiator they told her the car was running hot. They wanted to do a diagnostic on the car after they put in a new radiator ( an additional charge). The diagnostic results was that she needed a new motor. Her car was older, but that was her main transportation. The problem is if the diagnostic was done first, the radiator would have not been replaced. So the bill still had to be paid. Now i was a customer since 2019 and they always checked the car and gave me a list of things that was wrong. They told both of us that if a customer comes and tell them the problem they just fix it without a diagnostic test. I am confused who was the expert in this case? ”
